Children Waiting Everywhere

Here, I introduce, John, who is in grade 4. When he was younger, he was fitted with a prosthetic leg below the knee from an NGO which is no longer here.

Because John has grown, he needed a “new” prosthetic leg to better fit him.

Thanks to the generosity of CWE donors, I was able to get John an old worn out “new” leg.

We have to get John a new pair of shoes… that is why you hear that “tok-tok” knocking noise…

John. demonstrates how he puts his “new” leg into the shoe. He is very able to manage everything by himself even though his hands are not fully formed.

My friend, Joann, gives John the pen.

John holds the pen between his elbow and writes beautifully.

“My name is Niwdmdnya John.”
